What’s the difference between the "Basic" plan and the other plans?

The "Basic" plan gives you our complete website service, but without our online booking system. You can still showcase your rooms and rates, and other info.

The "Standard" and Premium plans include our online booking system, which enable you to accept bookings online through your website.

What if I want to keep my current booking system?

No problem! You can use our "Basic" plan for your website, and we’ll integrate or link to your online booking provider.

When will I be charged?

The one-time fee for the Full Setup Service ($199) is charged the day you open your account. Your first month’s subscription is included in the Setup fee. Your first subscription fee is charged 30 days after you open your account.

Do I need to purchase my own web hosting?

No. Hosting is included, no extra charge. Hotel Propeller is a hosted service. We take care of the technical up-keep, so you can focus on running your business!

What about making routine updates to my website?

You’ll have the ability to log in and make edits anytime you want. Our WordPress dashboard is super easy-to-use. Plus we have video tutorials and professional customer support available. Or, we can make those updates for you! Just send us an email and we’ll take care of it (at no extra cost).

Are there any contracts or long-term commitment?

No contracts, no commitment. You can cancel your account at any time.

What’s the difference between the "Standard" and "Premium" plans?

Both of these plans offer the ability to take bookings online through your website. The difference is in the checkout process.

With our "Standard" plan, customers can pay you in person when they arrive, or they can pay online using PayPal. When they pay using paypal, the customer is taken over to paypal.com to complete their transaction. Customers don't need a PayPal account to pay with their credit card via PayPal.

With our "Premium" plan, you'll have the ability to accept credit cards on your website, without the customer ever leaving your site. In order to process credit cards and transfer funds to your bank account, you'll need to open an account with Stripe.com. It's very easy to setup and manage. With Stripe, you can accept all major credit cards, with very reasonable fees of 2.9% + $0.30 per transaction (there are no monthly service fees from Stripe).

If I accept PayPal, do customers need to have a PayPal account in order to checkout?

No. Your customers do not need to have their own PayPal account in order to pay using their credit card via PayPal. They can simply checkout without signing into PayPal.

Can I use my own domain name?

Yes! We make it easy to connect your own domain name (example, MyRestaurant.com). We’re here to help with the setup process (don’t worry, it’s quick and easy!).

What’s included in the Full Setup Service?

The Full Setup Service includes all setup required to get your new site ready to launch, in under 5 business days. We will: Setup your design template, make customizations, add your logo & colors, input your rooms, photos, and other content, connect your social media accounts, and optimize your site for search engines.
